Welcome to our blog site. This is the first time we've ventured into this world so please excuse our "beginner status".
For those who aren't aware, the Heath family is off on an adventure to Europe and the UK, travelling by motorhome for 3 months over the northern hemisphere summer. To say we are excited would be an understatement.
We are organising this blog site for anyone who is interested in our travels so they can keep a track of our adventures. Read or ignore as you wish. We'll try and keep the posts brief and interesting. The children have been madly googling our destinations and planning our lives for the next few months.
In mid May we take off for Frankfurt, Germany, pick up our motorhome (which is only 6 metres long) and head south to explore the bottom half of Germany. From here we drive through Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, across the English Channel by ferry to England, up through Wales and Scotland, head south again through England, back across the Channel to Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands, and finally back into Northern Germany.
